Start Listing Your Products

Adding a product on Gartson.com is easy. To get started, go to Vendor Central > Products > Add A Product. All the changes you make instantly reflect to the product page which will be visible to the customers.

To view all your listings, go to Vendor Central > Products > Add A Product.

Prerequisites:

1. A Gartson.com seller account.
2. A completely setup shop.

Main Steps:

1. Fill out the necessary details.

Product Name – name of the product..
Tip: Make it detailed. e.g. “Furologee Computer Desk with Drawer and Power Outlets, Rustic Brown”

Slug – a unique url extension that appears in the product page URL.
Tip: Make it similar to the product name. Fortunately, when adding a product, as you change the product name, the slug field automatically generates the slug for you. Nevertheless, you can manually modify it to match your preference.

2. Save Product

Gartson.com will route you to the product page, where you can do more customization for your newly listed product.

a. Product Name – name of the product.
b. Slug – a unique url extension that appears in the product page URL.

You can also update the following crucial details:

a. Product Thumbnail – The main image of the product

b. Pricing

i. Regular Price – Required. The price visible to the product page visitor.
ii. Sale Price – Optional. Discounted price.
iii. Effective Sale Date – Optional. Required if Sale Price is set.
iv. Sale Expiration Date – Optional. Required if Sale Price is set

c. Stocks

i. SKU – Optional. Additional unique identification for inventory purposes.
ii. Stock Quantity – Number of available products. Set more than 1 for the buyer to see ADD TO CART.
iii. Allow backorders – Set this option to indicate that the product is out of stock but your shop accepts orders as it will be restocked soon and will be delivered once it is restocked.
iv. Limit purchases to per order – Set this option to control the number of items that the buyer can buy per order.

Tip: Use this if mixing the item to another item is not possible or may cause problems.

d. Product Images - Customizable photo gallery that showcases curated photos of shoppers enjoying your product right on the page. Tailor the gallery according to your preferences and leverage this feature to visually showcase the true appearance of your product to customers.

e. Categories - Set to group and organize the products you sell. This will help your customers to find what they’re looking for. Product categories can also help you to formulate marketing strategies, pricing decisions, and distribution channels.

f. Tags – Organize your products in your shop using product tags. It is also crucial to optimize SEO by organizing the products in your store using the product tag in the URL. This helps search engine identify what type of product you’re selling, so buyers searching product terms can easily find it on your store.

g. Shipping

i. Offer free shipping – Use this option to waive the shipping cost of the product.
Note: Once, this options is checked, you will shoulder the shipping fee for all orders for this product.

This only applies to orders that only include the product in question. If mixed with other products when checked out, the discount will be voided.
